I was born in Hollywood and grew up in Los Angeles, where I got interested in acting. Being on a set was intriguing. I was a background actor in 'The Raid on Entebbe,' which spurred my passion for acting.
I moved to San Francisco in 1980 to launch my career in hair styling but kept up my interest and dabbled in acting at every opportunity I got. While I was a stylist at Vidal Sassson, I had the chance to teach David Soul how to play a hair stylist in the TV series Partners in Crime. That's when I began taking acting classes and delved deeper into my acting career and started auditioning and landed lead roles in several film and TV projects.
